Clear float glass is the basis for every magnificent glazing project. It can be processed in every imaginable way, and is often used as a base glass for an entire range of glass products including coatings, mirrors, back painted glass, acid etched glass etc.

AGC’s Clear Float glass has attained Environment Product Declaration (EPD) verification and Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification.

Clearsight is AGC’s exclusive anti-reflective glass, minimising glare and significantly reducing light reflection to less than 1%, far lower than the typical 8% of conventional float glass.

Clearsight is well known for being used as display showcases in museums. It is becoming increasingly popular in other segments, such as retail, showrooms, sports facilities, observation decks, control towers, high-end homes, outdoor advertising and zoos.

With its unparalleled 92% light transmission and superior colour rendering, Clearvision is the natural choice for extra-clear vision and clarity count. No wonder this low-iron, high-quality glass is increasingly being used by architects and designers for projects requiring a high degree of transparency.

Decorative patterned glass providing a balance of light and privacy.

Imagin patterned glass products feature a design and texture printed onto the surface on one or both sides of a clear glass sheet. Striking a delicate balance between translucence and privacy, Imagin patterned glass is the perfect solution for furniture, partitions, doors, shower screens and meeting rooms that provide varying levels of privacy and light.

High quality painted glass to brighten up interior spaces

Lacobel is a clear float glass featuring high-quality paint on one side. This glass is also available in a SAFE version, meeting Grade A safety standards (AS/NZS 2208:1996 norms).

High quality temperable painted glass, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

Lacobel T is the first painted glass range that can be cut and heat-treated directly by the processor, streamlining the production process and shortening delivery times. Highly resistant to scratches and thermal shocks, Lacobel T is suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications.

AGC strongly recommends that Lacobel T products be processed by an AGC Certified Processor. This will ensure the processed glass is of superior quality and eliminate any risks for the end customer.

Permanent anti-corrosion coating that maintains shower glass like brand new.

Luxclear is a clear glass with an invisible magnetron coating (on one side), specially designed for shower applications. Its coating has been specially developed to protect the glass surface and drastically slow the ageing process when in contact with water by preventing the development of the whitish deposit on the glass. Unlike aftermarket products, Luxclear’s coating fuses with the glass, permanently sealing the surface to prevent the glass from appearing hazy and dull.

Decorative glass solutions with subtle, uniform and matte appearance.

Matelac is a clear glass painted on one side with high-quality paint and acid-etched on the other. The matte look of Matelac combines seamlessly with its glossy alter ego Lacobel.

The new Matelac colour collection was developed in collaboration between AGC and external decorative experts and professionals at the AGC Deco Academy, our first European workshop. Based on an analysis of colour trends and the impact of colours on our feelings, we jointly selected the 15 colours in the new Matelac range.

Matelac T is a painted glass with a matte finish which, just like its glossy counterpart Lacobel T, offers the unique benefit that it can be cut and heat-treated directly by the processor, streamlining the production process and shortening delivery times. With its high-quality satin finish, Matelux strikes a delicate balance between offering privacy and letting in light. AGC’s unique industrial acid-etching process on large sheets is subject to rigorous quality controls, ensuring uniformity and continuity.

The homogeneous grain and finish of acid-etched glass surfaces are appreciated by architects and designers, making it the preferred material to enhance interior and exterior space.

What’s more, Matelux can be processed like regular float glass, providing flexibility to our processors.

Planibel Easy is a durable Class A coating with two main uses, each with its own unique benefits.

The coating is activated by daylight to destroy organic dirt and then rain naturally removes it. This helps to reduce your exterior cleaning frequency year-round.

This photo-catalysis effect accelerates the destruction of microbes and virus particles on the surface, including SARS-CoV-2 (the virus responsible for COVID-19).

Available on a Clear tint, to complement any of your building designs.

A durable coating that provides high light transmission and low-emissivity for effective insulation.

Planibel Low-E range is designed to have high light transmission coupled with a low-emissivity coating, making it good in supporting any applications with lower energy consumption and CO₂ emission in mind, through its optimal thermal insulation. With their high transparency aesthetic, it makes them easy to combine with any tinted or solar control glass for further enhanced performances as well as its appearance. Applications include residential and commercial buildings, appliances and more.

Functional and durable wired glass for diverse applications.

AGC Polished Wired glass is made with lengths of wire embedded in the glass during the manufacturing process. Wired glass may be used as a fire-rated product (meets Integrity 45 – 60 mins according to JIS R 3204:1994 and BS 476: Part 22: 1987) in limited applications. Wired glass should not be used in applications that require safety glazing.

AGC makes living and working environments safer with Pyrobel, the widest range of fire-resistant glass on the market. Our fire-resistant glass can deliver up to 180 minutes of fire resistance. The glass is tested and approved in accordance with European and international standards.

Stopray offers a range of high-performance solar protection in both commercial and residential buildings, suitable for use in all climates.

Stopray is a high-performance magnetron-sputter coated glass that provides excellent selectivity which helps in maximising energy savings that meet or exceed energy code requirements while providing sublime aesthetics to facades.

They are always used in double glazing, making them suitable for all climates as they control incoming heat in the summer and prevent indoor heat from escaping during the winter.

Its low reflection and availability on various tints make it versatile for most architects’ creative expression while still providing good daylighting. A simple double glazing unit of Sunergy can effortlessly achieve a U value of 1.9 W/sqmK, making Sunergy the ideal consideration to support sustainability goals including energy-saving and thermal insulation strategies.

Sunlux Gold SS is a zero-silver coated glass with gold appearance. It is part of AGC’s latest technology in designing a coated product which provides not only good shading efficiency. This product is particularly well adapted for tropical climates. It is ideal for facades with gilded aesthetic and for creating distinctive interior moods as interior glass.

The glass is coloured by adding traces of metals such as cobalt, iron and selenium to the raw materials of ordinary glass, affording various degrees of energy absorption, thereby minimising the heat passing through the glass. It reduces the quantity of heat flowing into the building, and lessens the cooling load, thereby maintaining a comfortable temperature indoors.
