International Green Building Conference 2025

Singapore International Green Building Conference 2025 (IGBC-SG 2025), held from 9–11 July and organised by the Singapore Green Building Council, brought together industry leaders and sustainability professionals for three days of presentations, panel discussions, site tours, and exhibitions. The conference focused on key decarbonisation strategies for the built environment, including whole life carbon, retrofits, human-centric design, and smart, AI-driven buildings.

AGC participated as a Platinum Partner, reinforcing its commitment to driving sustainable innovation in the built environment. As part of its involvement, AGC also joined the panel discussion, “Sustainability in Flux: Navigating Green Progress Amid Political Shifts,” contributing its global insights on maintaining sustainability momentum in an evolving policy landscape.
The event concluded with the SGBC Gala Dinner, celebrating excellence in green building. Since its launch in 2009, IGBC-SG has served as a key platform to showcase Singapore’s leadership in tropical sustainable development and emerging trends in green building technologies.

Chiaki Okimura is the Environmental Sustainability Director at AGC Asia Pacific, leading regional initiatives. Previously, she led AGC’s global climate strategy and advised the Sustainability Council on key policies.
