AGC Glass Asia Pacific is the first glassmaker to publish EPD covering products manufactured in Asia.
With buildings currently being responsible for 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions, decarbonising the building sector is key to tackling this climate emergency. To do this, governments and green building schemes enforce the disclosure of environmental data for products and building materials in EPD for glass. This results in official declaration of environmental information and a higher level of transparency. Today, AGC Glass Asia Pacific is committed to declaring our environmental performance through Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for our glass products and do our part in contributing to a better tomorrow.
Clear Float Glass
Clear float glass is the basis for every magnificent glazing project. It can be processed in every imaginable way, and is often used as a base glass for an entire range of glass products including coatings, mirrors, back painted glass, acid etched glass etc.
AGC’s Clear Float glass has attained Environment Product Declaration (EPD) verification and Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification.
Mirox MNGE
Mirox MNGE is crafted with environmental sustainability at its core. It maintains indoor air quality while eliminating toxic products including copper, ammonia and lead in its production process.
Mirox MNGE is Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) verified, Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze and Singapore Green Building Product certified. It is a sustainable material to be used in your designs and at the same time, contribute to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), Green Mark green building rating system, etc.
Sunlux Gold SS
Sunlux Gold SS is a zero-silver coated glass with gold appearance. It is part of AGC’s latest technology in designing a coated product which provides not only good shading efficiency. This product is particularly well adapted for tropical climates. It is ideal for facades with gilded aesthetic and for creating distinctive interior moods as interior glass.
AGC’s Sunlux Gold SS has attained the Environment Product Declarations (EPD) verification and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze.
Sunergy
Combining both excellent shading performance (low solar factor) and low-E function, Sunergy provides good comfort for any commercial and residential application. A simple double glazing unit of Sunergy can effortlessly achieve a U value of 1.9 W/sqmK, making Sunergy the ideal consideration to support sustainability goals including energy-saving and thermal insulation strategies.
AGC’s Sunergy has attained the Environment Product Declarations (EPD) verification, Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze and Sunergy Cool (Laminated) has achieved the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification
T-Sunlux
T-Sunlux is a high-performance solar control reflective glass which specialises in blocking heat and is a great fit for architectural glass applications, where it helps to maintain the thermal comfort of the building.
AGC’s T-Sunlux has attained Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) verification and Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification.
Tinted Float Glass
High quality tinted glass is coloured by adding traces of metals such as cobalt, iron and selenium to the raw materials of ordinary glass, affording various degrees of energy absorption, thereby minimising the heat passing through the glass. It reduces the quantity of heat flowing into the building, and lessens the cooling load, thereby maintaining a comfortable temperature indoors.
AGC’s Tinted Float glass has attained Environment Product Declarations (EPD) verification and Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification.
Planibel Low-E
Planibel Low-E range is designed to have high light transmission coupled with a low-emissivity coating, making it good in supporting any applications with lower energy consumption and CO₂ emission in mind, through its optimal thermal insulation. With their high transparency aesthetic, it makes them easy to combine with any tinted or solar control glass for further enhanced performances as well as its appearance. Applications include residential and commercial buildings, appliances and more.
AGC’s Planibel Low-E has attained Environment Product Declarations (EPD) verification and Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification.
Lacobel
Lacobel is a clear float glass featuring high-quality paint on one side. This glass is also available in a SAFE version, meeting Grade A safety standards (AS/NZS 2208:1996 norms).

Stopray
Stopray is a high-performance magnetron-sputter coated glass that provides excellent selectivity which helps in maximising energy savings that meet or exceed energy code requirements while providing sublime aesthetics to facades.
They are always used in double glazing, making them suitable for all climates as they control incoming heat in the summer and prevent indoor heat from escaping during the winter.
AGC’s Stopray has attained the Environment Product Declarations (EPD) verification, Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze and select products with Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification.
Stopsol
Stopsol combines both function and aesthetics perfectly for any building needs. Its solar control properties are a support to sustainable building designs such as energy efficiency and reducing air condition costs. Their low solar factor ensures good solar protection to the occupants, yet lets in enough daylight into the building for visual comfort.
